Coursework statement of intent

My tv show The Finding will appeal to a wide range of people in the 16 – 25 year old range. To appeal to the more creative art/ academic group with high grade cinematography and great attention to detail which will attract good awards from reviews. To appeal to more casual viewers an interesting storyline filled with action will hook people in of all viewership. Current social issues and trends – both political and casual will further intergrade the show with a younger audience causing it to be talked about in person and over social media. The basic idea is that the show follows Jake Gay someone who is already involved in the younger audience and is establishing his say in society, following day to day life events occurring friends, girlfriends, family, school, mental health – all being both good and bad at times. This Is what I want to spark the connection making the show more intertextual with real life happenings and more relatable which has shown popularity recently with hits like 13 reasons why. I think this type of show is missing at the moment so would fill the gap in nicely.  

The website is there too boost viewership making people more aware of the show, it isn't there as one of the main products, simply to raise awareness. However social media accounts will also raise awareness but also discuss in detail the conventions in the episodes each week with celebrities.
